Valentine's Day UK
14th February 2012
Here at Valentine's Day UK we do a few things, we display general information around Valentine's Day such as the date it lands on in the UK, we generate gift ideas in case you are stuck on something to do or buy for your Valentine, and we connect with big brands such as Interflora, Thorntons, Flying Flowers and other UK companies to bring you discount codes and offers to help you save a little as well.
If your a little confused to what a discount code is or how you would use one to save this Valentine's Day then let us explain:
A discount code is a code which you can enter into a text box in the checkout (also known as basket) when you have finished shopping on a website and would like to purchase a product. Usually the text box is labeled 'Promotional Code' and you would simply type or paste the code into the text box and click a button called 'Apply' or 'Submit'. This would then apply the discount (discounts are usually a percentage off the price).
So for example:
If Interflora are offering 15%OFF on Roses for Valentine's Day with the code '15ROSES' then you would copy the code, visit the Interflora website and add Roses to the basket, then in the basket paste the code into the promotional box and click apply. This would then take 15% off the price.
